Write both names on the envelope.
Use the recipient’s booked name and booking number, then the full delivery address. Include your own full name and full return address. The general address is PO Box 86164, Terminal Annex, Los Angeles, CA 90086-0164. - 03
Keep the envelope and contents plain.
Check the prohibited-item list below before sealing. Cash, personal checks, stamps, tape, staples, glitter, stickers and stationery supplies cannot go in ordinary correspondence. - 04
Order books through a seller.
The bookstore or publisher must send books and periodicals directly. The limits are three books and three periodicals per week. No hard covers or metal/plastic bindings. - 05
Treat vendor packages separately.
A parcel packed at home is not the same as an approved vendor order. Access Securepak identifies the current LA County package program. Our packages guide explains ordering, eligibility checks and delivery problems; current recipient limits and fees must be checked in the provider catalog. - 06
Check it once more.
Confirm the booked name, booking number, address, return address and contents. Mail that violates the rules may be returned intact to the sender.
