Start with the person.
Then the place.
Have the booked name, date of birth and booking number ready. Confirm the location before visiting, mailing or depositing money.
Look for Century Regional / CRDF.
Women are received at CRDF reception in Lynwood, rather than the downtown IRC. The visiting hours and mailed-deposit address for Bauchet Street facilities do not apply here.
Recent bookings may not appear for two hours. Call (213) 473-6100 if the record is unclear.
Get release or transfer alerts.
VINE offers free release, pending-release and transfer notifications. It is an alert service, not a custody roster. Register again if the person transfers to CDCR.
A visit starts
before you leave.
Register in LASD’s Inmate Visitation Scheduling System (IVVS), book up to seven days ahead, and finish the confirmation. Walk-ins are not available.
By confirmed appointment. Availability depends on the person’s housing.
