Send mail to someone at Santa Rita Jail.

Personal mail goes through Pigeonly in Las Vegas with facility code 2300. Legal mail and publisher-sent books use the Santa Rita address in Dublin.

Address the envelope against the custody record.

Santa Rita uses different routes for personal mail and privileged or publisher mail.

  1. Confirm Santa Rita custody

    Check the Sheriff locator immediately before mailing and copy the booked name and PFN exactly.

  2. Choose the mail type

    Ordinary personal letters, cards, postcards, and permitted photos use the Pigeonly processing address. Legal mail and publisher-sent books, magazines, or newspapers use the Dublin jail address.

  3. Write the Pigeonly address completely

    Use the person’s name and PFN, then “Santa Rita County Jail – 2300,” PO Box 96777, Las Vegas, NV 89193. Add your full return address.

  4. Use Dublin only for the exceptions

    Privileged legal mail and printed material sent directly by a publisher go to Name–PFN, Santa Rita Jail, 5325 Broder Boulevard, Dublin, CA 94568.

  5. Check the contents before sealing

    Remove restricted items and confirm that any photos or printed material meet the current rules.

Do not send ordinary personal mail to Broder Boulevard.

Since February 23, 2026, non-privileged mail uses Pigeonly. After March 25, 2026, personal mail sent to the jail is returned. Legal mail and publisher shipments are the exceptions.

Generally permitted personal mail

The current Santa Rita guide lists these common items when properly addressed.

  • Personal letters, greeting cards, and postcards
  • Up to ten 4-by-6-inch photos
  • Unbound newsletters
  • Pigeonly’s limited free-mail or paid-mail service

Items to leave out

Restricted items can cause the mail to be rejected.

  • Cash, gift cards, credit cards, stamps, or unused stationery
  • Glitter, rhinestones, stickers, glue, wax paper, or sticky notes
  • Polaroids or third-party photo-vendor prints
  • Hardcover books, newspaper clippings, staples, or padded envelopes

Do not reuse this address elsewhere

The 2300 route is only for Santa Rita adult custody.

  • Do not use it for Juvenile Hall or Camp Sweeney.
  • Do not use it for closed Glenn Dyer or FCI Dublin.
  • Recheck custody before every mailing.
