Parking Tips
- Downtown courthouses (Clara Shortridge Foltz, Spring Street, Stanley Mosk, Central Arraignment): Expect to pay $15–$25/day in nearby parking structures. Arrive 30–45 minutes early for security lines.
- Jurors: Stanley Mosk jurors use the Walt Disney Concert Hall garage (free with jury summons). Airport Courthouse has free on-site juror parking. Always bring your summons for validation.
- Suburban courthouses: Parking is generally easier and cheaper than downtown. Many have adjacent lots.
- Street parking: Available in some areas but often time-restricted to 1–2 hours — not practical for full-day court appearances.
Security Tips
- Leave knives, guns, and any weapons at home — they will be confiscated and you may be arrested
- No food or drinks beyond water in a clear bottle at most locations
- No photography or recording inside courthouses without permission
- Electronic devices (phones, laptops) must go through screening — have them accessible
- Dress professionally — jeans and T-shirts are allowed but presentable clothing makes a difference
