Public roster

Madera County Jail custody line

Sheriff Corrections nav (Wayback 2026-08-14 of the live county site) lists visiting, mail, deposits, property, VINE, and the custody manual — it does not publish a public who-is-here roster. Call (559) 675-7951 to confirm the person is still here and to get the booking/ID number needed for Jonesboro mail. JailATM.com is how you fund an account or schedule a visit after you know they are here; it is not a Sheriff roster. Jail411 does not host inmate names. CIRIS is CDCR (CCWF and Valley State Prison in Chowchilla), not this jail. Facility inventory still labels this row Madera Adult Correctional Facility at 14191 Road 28; the live jail contact block is 195 Tozer Street.

Before you leave home

Three things to confirm before the trip.

On-site visits are video visits at 195 Tozer Street on JailATM.com. Two 30-minute on-site visits per week. Open daily 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday closed 12:00–1:00 p.m. Call (559) 675-7951 the day you drive.

  1. 01Confirm this jail

    Call (559) 675-7951.

If the person is at the Youth Correctional Center (1655 E. Olive Avenue), do not come here. If they are at CCWF or Valley State Prison in Chowchilla, that is CDCR — use CIRIS. Sheriff HQ at 2725 Falcon Drive does not hold adult-jail visiting.

  2. 02Create a JailATM account

    On-site and off-site visits are JailATM.com.

Official Visiting Information (Wayback 2026-05-19): visitation is through the JailATM.com video platform. You schedule the visit. Both you and the incarcerated person must be logged in under individual credentials — no sharing visits. On-site visits can also be scheduled in the front lobby.

  3. 03Arrive at 195 Tozer Street

Not 2725 Falcon Drive and not 200 South G Street.

2725 Falcon Drive is Sheriff HQ. 200 South G Street is the courthouse. 1655 E. Olive Avenue is youth. 14191 Road 28 still appears on the county department directory as Corrections — the jail contact, kiosk, and visiting pages print 195 Tozer Street. Bring a valid photo ID.

01 / Visiting

Madera County Jail visiting hours.

Official Visiting Information (Wayback 2026-05-19): on-site visitations are held 7 days a week through JailATM.com. Create an account. Visitors schedule visits. During the visit the visitor and the incarcerated person must be logged in under their individual credentials. On-site visitation can be scheduled in the front lobby. Two 30-minute on-site visits per week. Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Off-site visits are also JailATM, 7 days a week; all visits are monitored; off-site is a privilege; do not operate a motor vehicle during an off-site visit. Call (559) 675-7951 for current status before you drive. Lockdowns and facility needs cancel visits. If you miss a scheduled visit and make no contact with the facility, it is cancelled and counts as a scheduled visit. The incarcerated person may refuse a visit. You must be on the approved visiting list.

Madera County Jail tablets and video JailATM and ICSolutions.

Official Visiting Information uses JailATM.com for on-site and off-site video visits. Official tablet flyer (Wayback of Sheriff document 47929): tablet services — messaging, video visitation, entertainment, subscriptions — are ICSolutions. Tablet technical, account, billing, and service issues go to ICSolutions 866-228-4031 or techsupport@icsolutions.com, not the Sheriff grievance process. A separate collect-call rate card is not on the reviewed Corrections HTML.

  1. 01Two products

    JailATM vs ICSolutions.

JailATM.com is how you schedule video visits and fund the trust account (plus the lobby kiosk). ICSolutions runs the tablets. Do not call the jail lobby for an app password.

  2. 02Tablet help

    ICSolutions 866-228-4031.

Have the incarcerated person’s name and housing, any error message, and the tablet MAC address if you have it. Email techsupport@icsolutions.com. Do not use the Sheriff grievance form for tablet billing.

  3. 03Youth and CDCR

    Different vendors.

Youth phones are NCIC on the JDF Protocols PDF. CCWF and VSP use CDCR family resources. Do not open a JailATM Madera County Jail account for those.

01Bail

Search first, then cash or a licensed bond — Historic / main courthouse is 200 South G Street

Confirm the person is still here at (559) 675-7951. Madera Superior Court, 200 South G Street, main (559) 416-5599, Criminal Division (559) 416-5550, clerk windows 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. 2026 Felony & Misdemeanor Bail Schedule PDF: madera.courts.ca.gov/forms-filing/fee-bail-schedules. Case portal: madera-prod-portal.ecourt.com/public-portal/. Cash-bail refunds on court order take about 6 to 8 weeks (Criminal page). Posting a bond does not guarantee release if a probation, parole, or out-of-county hold applies. An ICE detainer alone is not a lawful California hold (Gov. Code § 7284.6). Appointed counsel is requested at arraignment; ability-to-pay is Revenue Services at 300 South G Street, Suite 100, (559) 675-2488.

03After release

Ask the jail about leftover funds — (559) 675-7951

After booking

Court, a lawyer, probation, and parole.

Court, counsel, and probation are separate from the jail. State parole is a different agency. This is the process a family actually has to walk—not a directory of private bondsmen or attorneys.

01 Main Courthouse

(559) 416-5599

02 Appointed counsel

Ask the judge at 200 South G Street

Ask the judge at the first 200 South G Street appearance for appointed counsel if you cannot afford an attorney.

County department directory (Wayback 2026-08-14) does not list a Public Defender department. Court Criminal page: when the court appoints a public defender or other counsel, the matter is referred to Madera County Revenue Services for ability to pay. Revenue Services is 300 South G Street, Suite 100, (559) 675-2488. Self-Help Center (559) 416-5520, facilitator@madera.courts.ca.gov, 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., is family-law / facilitator — not criminal defense.

(559) 416-5599

03 County supervision

Probation is not parole

A probation hold can block release after bail. Adult Services and Revenue Services share 300 South G Street, Suite 100, fax (559) 661-0040. Official Probation page: Adult Transition Center (formerly Day Reporting Center) is described as a one-stop rehabilitative shop at the new Justice Center.

Youth housing is 1655 E. Olive Avenue, (559) 675-7899 — not this adult jail. Juvenile Services office is 1675 E. Olive Avenue, (559) 675-4970.

Clear information.
Clear boundaries.

Jail411 is an independent information resource for families and friends. We are not a government agency, jail operator, law firm or live custody-records service.

Can Jail411 tell me if someone is in custody right now?

No. Jail411 does not hold live custody records. Use the official locator for the county, state, federal or ICE system that has the person; start here if you do not know which.

Does posting bond mean the person comes home?

Not always. A probation or parole hold, another county's warrant or an immigration detainer can keep someone in custody after bond is posted. Ask the jail what holds are on the booking before you pay.

What should I confirm before visiting?

The person's current facility, the visiting schedule, approval requirements, accepted identification and arrival instructions. Check the facility page and its official sources before you travel.

What if I find something that needs correcting?

Send us the page and the detail that needs attention. Include the official source when you have one. Do not send private booking documents or other sensitive personal information.
