Current adult Warrick County Sheriff jail at 766 Hyrock Boulevard only

  1. Confirm identity

Use the Sheriff roster, then call 812-897-6096 before an irreversible step.

  2. Use the new address

Travel only to 766 Hyrock Boulevard; the State Road 62 jail is former.

  3. Choose the task

Separate visiting, phone, commissary, court, clinical and release contacts.

  4. Resolve conflicts

Ask for the current written rule when pages disagree or predate the 2026 move.

  5. Keep proof

Save IDs, booking number, receipts, confirmations and case details.

  6. Escalate safely

Use 911 for immediate danger; otherwise use the responsible jail, vendor, court or transit contact.

  7. Recheck same day

Custody, visits, court orders, transit and release can change.

PART 01

Identity and first confirmation

Practical identity and first confirmation steps for this facility.

Active adult jail after the 2026 move

Use Warrick County Security Center at 766 Hyrock Boulevard, Boonville, IN 47601, jail line 812-897-6096. All inmates and most operations moved there in August 2026. Do not travel to the former 100 W State Road 62 jail; Central Dispatch remained at the old campus.

Treat bed counts as design evidence

The project architect states 282 designed beds; a current news report paraphrases the Sheriff as saying nearly 300. Neither figure proves an available bed, classification placement or same-day population. Call the jail for an operational question and do not use the former 120-bed figure as current capacity.

Confirm current custody

Start with the Sheriff-linked Zuercher roster. Search the exact legal name and open the record; save spelling, booking number, charges, bond and court fields. Because the roster refresh interval is not published, call 812-897-6096 before travel, mail, deposits or a paid visit.

Sources: Warrick County official inmate search · Warrick County Security Center jail page

No result, transfer or release

Retry spelling and name variants, then use Indiana VINE for status alerts and MyCase for filed court events. A missing record can reflect booking delay, release, hospital care, youth placement or transfer. Use IDOC, BOP and ICE only for those separate systems and use 812-897-6096 as the local fallback.

Use the task-specific contact

Use 812-897-6096 for jail housing and rules, 812-897-6180 for Sheriff administration and PREA reports, and 812-897-1200 for non-emergency dispatch. Call 911 for immediate danger. Vendor, court and transit numbers below serve only their own tasks.

PART 02

Visits and communication

Practical visits and communication steps for this facility.

Set up video visiting

Create or sign in to InmateSales, choose Warrick County Security Center, select the correct resident and choose remote or onsite video. The Sheriff instructs users to purchase minutes and schedule the visit. Confirm custody first; the page does not state a universal booking lead time.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · InmateSales

Use the published time windows carefully

The live jail page publishes remote visitation from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and onsite visitation from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. It does not identify days, session duration, weekly frequency, check-in cutoff or holiday exceptions. Confirm the appointment and current access at 812-897-6096.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page

Prepare the device and account

For iPhone or iPad, the Sheriff directs visitors to the InmateSales app. For Windows, Mac and Android, it directs users to Chrome. Before the appointment, test camera, microphone, speakers, browser permissions, power and connection; keep the confirmation and transaction record.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · InmateSales

Plan onsite arrival without assumptions

Onsite accounts can be created at kiosks in visitation booths in the Sheriff’s lobby. A dated move report says the secondary jail lobby is open 24/7, but the Sheriff does not publish which entrance, parking area, check-in buffer or booth-access hours control a visit. Call 812-897-6096 before driving.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · WNIN: inmates moved to new Warrick jail

Confirm ID, minors and exceptions

Current official pages do not publish accepted ID, alternatives for a visitor without ID, minor age rules, guardian documents, dress code, belongings, infant supplies, visitor approval, former-resident restrictions, disability accommodation or long-distance/special visits. Ask 812-897-6096 before adding a child or exceptional visitor.

Resolve a failed visit once

Check facility selection, resident spelling, appointment time, account approval, camera and microphone permissions, connection and receipt. Use InmateSales family support at 866-340-7879 for account or technical problems and 812-897-6096 for custody, access or institutional restrictions. Do not repurchase before the cause is identified.

Choose Direct Pay or PIN Debit

CPC/InmateSales is the verified jail phone system. Direct Pay funds calls only to one specified number; PIN Debit funds the resident’s PIN and can support calls to any permitted number. In the lobby kiosk, search by name rather than knowing the PIN. The resident places outgoing calls.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · InmateSales

Fix blocked calls or request a refund

Direct Pay does not work with ring-back tones. Taxes and deposit fees may apply. Save the error, funded number, resident name and receipt, then call CPC at 1-877-998-5678 for questions or a refund. Jail staff say they are not responsible for the lobby kiosk and do not provide change.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · InmateSales help and contact

Do not infer text or email products

The current local page verifies phone and video but does not publish Chirping texts, email, tablets, voicemail, rates, monitoring language, call-length limits, blocked-number appeal or account transfer after release. Confirm any additional product inside the Warrick facility listing before payment.

PART 03

Mail, books and money

Practical mail, books and money steps for this facility.

Confirm the post-move mail address

The current Sheriff jail page does not publish a personal-mail address or required identifiers after the move. The legacy page used the former State Road 62/P.O. Box 487 identity, which is not safe to reuse. Call 812-897-6096 for the current destination, resident name format and booking-number requirement before mailing.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · Legacy Warrick jail page · WNIN: inmates moved to new Warrick jail

Ask before buying photos, books or packages

The Sheriff does not publish current photo dimensions or quantity, publisher-only book rules, subscription handling, package approval, page limits, prohibited contents, indigent mail supplies or a rejection/appeal process. Do not use JailATM availability as proof that a care package is locally authorized.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · JailATM deposits

Troubleshoot returned or missing mail

Confirm current custody and obtain the post-move address from 812-897-6096. Keep a copy and tracking record. Ask whether the item was rejected, scanned, stored, returned or held and request the current written rule; do not resend to the former campus without confirmation.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · Warrick County Sheriff contact · Legacy Warrick jail page

Fund the phone account separately

For phone funds, use InmateSales or the blue lobby kiosk. Choose Direct Pay or PIN Debit deliberately and verify the person and intended number before submitting. Keep the receipt; the Sheriff distinguishes this account from commissary.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · InmateSales

Use JailATM only for commissary

For commissary, the Sheriff directs families to JailATM or the brown lobby kiosk. Search the correct facility and resident, review fees before approval and retain the transaction ID. Current official pages do not publish limits, posting time, cash acceptance, chargeback consequences or remaining-funds procedure.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · JailATM deposits · JailATM support

Resolve a money error by product

For a phone-account problem call CPC 1-877-998-5678. For a JailATM commissary transaction use JailATM support. For a kiosk hardware or resident-posting issue, keep the receipt and call 812-897-6096. Do not assume one vendor can move money to the other product.

PART 04

Health, grievances and safety

Practical health, grievances and safety steps for this facility.

Use the jail for resident health communication

Current official pages do not identify the medical contractor, family health-information line, sick-call method, copays, medication or glasses drop-off, mental-health or withdrawal escalation, dental care or outside-hospital notification. For urgent resident safety call 812-897-6096; call 911 for an immediate community emergency.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · Warrick County Health Department · Warrick County public-health nursing

Expect privacy limits

Staff may receive factual safety information even when privacy law limits what they can disclose. Provide full name, booking number if known, symptoms, timing, medication name and prescriber; ask how to document the concern and how the resident can authorize disclosure. County public-health nursing is not the jail medical unit.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · Warrick County public-health nursing

Ask for the current grievance path

The Sheriff does not publish resident grievance steps, form access, informal-resolution requirement, appeal level, deadline, emergency-grievance route or outside oversight contact. Ask the jail how the resident files and appeals, and preserve dates, names and copies without using another county’s procedure.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · Warrick County Sheriff FAQ

Request disability access from the responsible office

Call 812-897-6096 for visit or resident accommodations and explain the barrier and requested effective communication or physical access. Current local pages do not publish an ADA coordinator, request form, response deadline or appeal. Federal ADA guidance does not supply the missing local workflow.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · ADA.gov detention accessibility guidance

Report sexual abuse through the published path

The Security Center states zero tolerance. Report information to the Corrections Investigator at 812-897-6180 and provide names, locations, witnesses, booking number, description, date, time and contact information. The jail says allegations are investigated and counseling by trained qualified personnel is available. Use 911 for immediate danger.

PART 05

Courts, counsel, property and release

Practical courts, counsel, property and release steps for this facility.

Identify the controlling court

Warrick County has Circuit Court and Superior Courts 1 and 2 at the Judicial Center. Use the roster and MyCase to identify the case number and court, then use that court’s official number. Court staff control filed dates and orders; the jail controls custody and transport.

Sources: Warrick County official inmate search · Indiana MyCase · Warrick County courts · Warrick Circuit Court · Warrick Superior Court 1 · Warrick Superior Court 2

Verify the bond order before payment

Read the filed order or roster amount and confirm the authorized payment location, method, fee, payer ID and refund recipient with the Clerk or jail. A 24/7 jail lobby does not itself prove that every bond type is payable there. Current official jail pages do not publish a complete bond workflow after the move.

Sources: WNIN: inmates moved to new Warrick jail · Warrick County Clerk · Warrick County Security Center jail page

Separate appointed counsel from general legal help

Ask the controlling court or Clerk whether counsel has been appointed and for the attorney’s contact. The state public-defender directory is dated and must be confirmed. Indiana Legal Help handles civil/self-help referrals and is not a substitute for assigned criminal counsel.

Sources: Warrick County Clerk · Indiana public defender county directory · Indiana Legal Help Warrick County

Confirm property-release rules before arrival

Current official sources do not publish who may collect property, resident authorization, ID, hours, all-at-once rules, clothing exceptions, storage deadline or destruction policy at the new facility. Call 812-897-6096 with the resident’s name and booking number before driving.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · WNIN: inmates moved to new Warrick jail

Prepare for release without guessing a time

The Sheriff does not publish routine release windows, discharge door, required pickup person, clothing needs, medication supply, property return, transport assistance or delayed-release escalation. Treat court action and roster changes as leads only; confirm actual release with 812-897-6096 before dispatching a ride.

PART 06

Programs and community support

Practical programs and community support steps for this facility.

Use only the programs the Sheriff names

The jail names GED/high-school diploma opportunity, a faith-based addiction program and a weekly church service. Eligibility, schedule, wait list, materials, language access, credits and post-release continuation are not published. The resident should ask classification or program staff.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page

Keep Community Corrections separate

Warrick County Community Corrections is a separate supervision program at 1 County Square, Suite 137, 812-897-8611; an evaluation determines eligibility. It is not the jail and cannot confirm custody, release time or jail property. Court Services is also a separate county contact.

Sources: Warrick County Community Corrections · IDOC community corrections contacts

Use local support after release

Indiana 211 is the broad referral starting point. Hope Central Food Pantry publishes service at 4205 IN-62 and requires an adult participant; confirm same-day hours and eligibility. The Warrick Resource Center offers local resource navigation, and the Boonville library at 611 W Main Street provides a public contact for computers and Wi-Fi.

PART 07

Arrival, transit, food and lodging

Practical arrival, transit, food and lodging steps for this facility.

Use the new Hyrock destination

Navigate to 766 Hyrock Boulevard, not the former State Road 62 campus or the Judicial Center. The new complex is between Boonville and Chandler, south of SR 62. Current pages do not publish a visitor parking lot name, accessible-space location, rideshare point, pedestrian entrance or overnight-waiting rule.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · Warrick County Sheriff contact · WNIN: inmates moved to new Warrick jail

Distinguish administrative and jail lobbies

A dated August 7 move report says the main lobby opens weekdays 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and a secondary jail-operations lobby opens 24/7. The Sheriff’s current jail page does not map those entrances or say which services are available around the clock. Confirm the correct door for a visit, kiosk, bond or property task.

Sources: WNIN: inmates moved to new Warrick jail · Warrick County Security Center jail page

Use WATS/Ride Solution as a planning service

WATS publishes weekday service from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., fixed routes in Boonville/Chandler/Newburgh, door-to-door service and limited route deviation. No reviewed official source names the Security Center as a stop or proves a safe final walk. Call Ride Solution dispatch and give the exact Hyrock address.

Sources: Town of Newburgh WATS page · Ride Solution WATS · Evansville MPO transit

Resolve reservation and phone differences

The Town page lists 812-254-3225 for door-to-door and says route deviation should be requested by 1:00 p.m. two business days before; SIRS directs Warrick public door-to-door riders to 1-877-369-8899 and prefers at least 48 hours, ideally two weeks. Confirm the correct product, eligibility, fare and pickup before relying on either.

Sources: Town of Newburgh WATS page · SIRS Link-N-Go transportation

Check seven specific service dates

The published Monday-Friday pattern supports planning checks for October 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7, 2026. October 3 and 4 are weekend dates with no published WATS service. Recheck alerts and reservations; the calendar does not promise jail access or release pickup.

Sources: Town of Newburgh WATS page · Evansville MPO transit

Plan accessible transit directly

WATS says vehicles are wheelchair accessible, lifts are available, drivers may assist boarding and exiting, service animals and portable oxygen are allowed, and legally required child seats must be provided by the passenger. Confirm eligibility and the exact accessible pickup at booking.

Sources: Town of Newburgh WATS page · SIRS Link-N-Go transportation

Do not promise transit at release

Fixed and door-to-door services operate within published hours and reservation limits. The jail does not publish a release-pickup curb or coordinate a guaranteed WATS ride. Arrange a flexible backup, confirm actual discharge and tell dispatch the exact 766 Hyrock address.

Sources: Warrick County Security Center jail page · Town of Newburgh WATS page · SIRS Link-N-Go transportation

Use verified local food contacts

For a family waiting in the area, Visit Warrick maintains a Boonville dining directory. RJ’s lists 1206 E Main Street, 812-897-8813. Hope Central’s pantry is assistance, not a restaurant. Confirm hours, accessibility and availability directly; no option is represented as inside walking distance of the jail.

Sources: Visit Warrick Boonville restaurants · RJ’s Restaurant direct site · Hope Central Food Pantry

Use lodging as a planning lead only

Visit Warrick lists county lodging. Manor Motel publishes 2155 N State Route 61 in Boonville; Scales Lake Park publishes seasonal camping and cabins. Confirm rate, vacancy, check-in, accessibility and travel time directly. These are community options, not Sheriff endorsements or guaranteed emergency lodging.

Sources: Visit Warrick hotels · Manor Motel direct site · Scales Lake Park camping and cabins

Recheck every irreversible step

On the day of a visit, payment, mailing, court appearance or pickup, recheck custody, address, appointment, court order, lobby, vendor and transportation. Save the name of the person who confirmed the step. The 2026 move makes old bookmarks and copied addresses especially risky.

Finding someone held here

Use the county system for a recent arrest. A state corrections search covers people in state custody. It generally will not list someone booked into a county jail this week. Bookings, bail, release, and visiting are all handled by Warrick County Sheriff’s Office.

Before you travel, pay, or mail anything

Get two things first: which facility the person is actually in, and their booking or ID number. Almost nothing works without them. Then check this facility’s current instructions — rules and service providers change.

Clear information.
Clear boundaries.

Jail411 is an independent information resource for families and friends. We are not a government agency, jail operator, law firm or live custody-records service.

Can Jail411 tell me if someone is in custody right now?

No. Jail411 does not hold live custody records. Use the official locator for the county, state, federal or ICE system that has the person; start here if you do not know which.

Does posting bond mean the person comes home?

Not always. A probation or parole hold, another county's warrant or an immigration detainer can keep someone in custody after bond is posted. Ask the jail what holds are on the booking before you pay.

What should I confirm before visiting?

The person's current facility, the visiting schedule, approval requirements, accepted identification and arrival instructions. Check the facility page and its official sources before you travel.

What if I find something that needs correcting?

Send us the page and the detail that needs attention. Include the official source when you have one. Do not send private booking documents or other sensitive personal information.
