Placer County Sheriff In-Custody Report
Official Our Jails and Personal Visitation pages (checked 2026-09-12): the In-Custody Report PDF is the who-is-here list and the source for this person’s visiting day. Jail411 does not host inmate names. You need the booked name and jail ID (P#) for Smart Communications mail and MyCarePack. The hosted FTP host returned HTTP 503 when checked 2026-09-12 — if the PDF does not open, call (530) 745-8500 and ask whether the person is at Auburn Jail or South Placer Jail. CIRIS is CDCR, not this jail. Facility inventory capacity 486 is from the stored facility row, not reprinted as a live official number on the 2026-09-12 Corrections HTML.

Three things to confirm before the trip.
Auburn Jail in-person visits use the Auburn Visitation Center on Atwood Road. Confirm the person is at this jail — South Placer Jail in Roseville is a different building with ICSolutions video rules. Read the In-Custody Report for the visiting day. Check in 35 to 45 minutes before the session.
- 01Confirm Auburn Jail
Open the In-Custody Report or call (530) 745-8500.
If the person is at South Placer Jail, use 11801 Go For Broke Road (or 11701 for minimum security). If they are at Juvenile Hall, use 11260 B Avenue. If they are in CDCR, use CIRIS. Sheriff HQ at 2929 Richardson Drive does not hold visiting.
- 02Match the visiting day
Days and times are on the In-Custody Report, not a fixed weekday table.
Official Our Jails (checked 2026-09-12): visit the In-Custody Report or call (530) 745-8500. Two 30-minute visits per week, not on the same day (Inmate Rulebook June 2024). Check in 35 to 45 minutes before the session.
- 03Arrive at the Auburn Visitation Center on Atwood Road
Not 2929 Richardson Drive (Sheriff HQ) and not 11801 Go For Broke Road.
Official Our Jails: the Auburn visitation center is on Atwood Road. The jail street is 2775 Richardson Drive. Bring accepted photo ID. No cell phones, computers, tablets, or smartphones in any visiting area. Call (530) 745-8500 before you drive.
01 / Visiting
Auburn Jail visiting hours.
Official Our Jails (checked 2026-09-12): Auburn Jail visiting times are on the In-Custody Report or (530) 745-8500. Visitors must check in at the Auburn Visitation Center 35 to 45 minutes before the session. Official Personal Visitation: Auburn Jail and South Placer Minimum Security provide a 30-minute visit split between adult visitors; only one visitor at the visiting station at a time. Inmate Rulebook (June 2024): each inmate two 30-minute face-to-face visits per week, not on the same day. Jail & Video Visitation: all personal visitors must check in a minimum of 30 minutes prior. Use the longer 35–45 minute Auburn check-in from Our Jails when you drive here. Housing moves and lockdowns cancel visits. If the In-Custody Report shows South Placer Jail, do not come here. Contact visiting at the Roseville adult jail is suspended — that rule is South Placer, not this Atwood Road door.
