Your appointment comes first.
Public visits are by appointment only. There are no walk-in visits. Use the time and location in your confirmed booking, then recheck both before leaving.
General population ordinarily receives at least two 30-minute visits weekly, in person or by video. Special-handling arrangements may be two 30-minute visits or one 60-minute visit where available.
Visit format, party size and eligibility depend on the person’s housing. Booking online does not mean the visit can take place from home.

Five steps to
a booked visit.
You’ll use LASD’s official systems to look up the person and reserve a visit. Jail411 does not take bookings or collect visitor information.

Confirm Century Regional.
Check the booked name, date of birth, booking number and current housing in LASD’s locator. Recent bookings can take two hours to appear. Women enter the county system through CRDF reception. Wait for the housing and appointment details before traveling.

Register or sign in to IVVS.
First-time visitors choose Register Today. Have an accessible email address, personal details and photo ID ready. Returning visitors sign in with their Visitor ID or email and password.

Add everyone attending.
Include all adults and children before selecting a visit. A child must be booked with a registered adult. The facility controls the permitted party size; use the options shown for that appointment.

Choose a time. Finish confirming.
Select the person, location, date and available time, then review every visitor and complete the final confirmation. Look for Confirmed and save the appointment details. Choosing a time alone does not book the visit.

Recheck before you leave.
Check housing, the appointment and current LASD notices again. Bring ID and child documents, plan where to keep belongings, and reach staff check-in 30 minutes before your appointment.
